    Beta carotene is absolutely essential for the skin. I eat a lot of beta carotene foods in hopes of getting healthier skin. I would say that it is so beneficial just for the fact that it creates vitamin A/retinol in the body. Those are essential for anti aging the skin.

    I have long known that beta carotene is healthy for my skin. I knew that foods like peppers were high in vitamin C, i just didn’t know that they were also high in beta carotene as well.
