Face Off Between Anti Aging Face Moisturizers!

Anti Aging Moisturizer

Three creams face off to help you decide which one is right for you! There are many anti aging face moisturizer companies out there. Here are three of them: LifeCell, Meaningful Beauty and Creme de La Mer. Take a look at how their creams compare to each other!

LifeCell Anti Aging Treatment

Price: $189 for 2.54 ounces

LifeCell skin care is an anti-aging skin care line by South Beach Skin care. Their products are formulated with breakthrough ingredients and they proudly have them listed on their web site. LifeCell is very big on their companies’ advantage, which is that it is so fast acting.

The product works incredibly fast because it has nano prisms that stealthily fit into your fine lines and wrinkles and repel light. This effect will shield light from creating a shadow, and ultimately hide the appearance of your wrinkles. Many people love this feature and LifeCell reviews rave that they feel it working on their skin.

The nano prisms are not LifeCell’s only advantage. The LifeCell anti aging face moisturizer has a quality formula with many potent anti-aging ingredients. A few of these ingredients are vitamin C, retinol, hyaluronic acid, deanol and shea butter. Vitamin C is an antioxidant and it is very important for your skin. Antioxidants, like vitamin C, will repel environmental damage and prevent the signs of aging. Not only does it prevent, it also reduce the past signs of aging as well. Retinol will speed up cell renewal, causing your skin to become luminous and reducing the appearance of age spots. Hyaluronic acid is a skin plumper/filler. It will cause your skin to be so moisturized, as it is a natural compound in your body making it easily recognizable to your skin cells. Deanol is the only ingredient that firms skin from the outside in and shea butter is a renowned moisturizer.  All together these ingredients make up quite an ensemble of anti-aging power in LifeCell’s flagship product the LifeCell all-in-one anti-aging treatment.

Cons:

– Does not include SPF protection. But this is normal since it would cancel out the benefits of the antioxidants in the product.

La Prairie

Price: $650 per ounce

La Prairie cosmetics are perhaps one of the most high-end cosmetic lines out there. La Prairie is so expensive because it contains platinum in the formula. La Prairie cosmetics can be useful to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It combats the loss of elasticity and firmness, redness, discoloration large pores and un-even texture. It will moisturize the skin and helps protect your skin’s DNA. The platinum in the cream works to slow down premature aging by maintaining the electric balance of your skin. Besides the renowned platinum, the cream’s ingredients also hydrate the skin by controlling and providing the skin with enough moisture.  The cream also includes antioxidants like resveratrol, plant extracts and peptides. Though it comes with many quality ingredients, the jar packaging it comes in may make the ingredients unstable.

Cons:

-Price is extremely high.

– It contains preservatives such as butylene glycol, which is harmful to the skin

Creme de La Mer

Price: $130 per ounce

Max Huber founded Crème De La Mer. He was an aerospace physicist who suffered an accident that resulted in severe chemical burns. He went on a quest to develop something that could improve his skin. After twelve years he formulated Crème De La Mer to help achieve softer, smoother age-less looking skin. Celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Aniston are some of La Mer skin care’s fans.

The cream has a special advantage in its ingredients. The company says that individually the ingredients are not miracles, but after they undergo what the company deems ‘bio-fermentation’ they are more equipped to moisturize your skin. After this special bio-fermentation the ingredients will work together as a whole to do their magic.

Some of the standout ingredients are seaweed extract. This provides many benefits to the skin like anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It also has Sesamum Indicum and Seeds and Medicago Sativa to improve general skin health. Unfortunately this cream comes in a jar packaging, which makes the ingredients exposed when you open it each time to apply it, causing the ingredients to become unstable. A down side to the cream is the eucalyptus oil it contains. This ingredient can irritate the skin and may sting. La Mer comes with minimal preservatives but it is up to you to decide if that minimum amount is already too much.

Cons:

– Very expensive

– It uses Methylisothiazolinone (or MI for short) a harmful preservative known to cause irritation.

Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to skin care. This info on anti aging face moisturizers can let you see that some of these companies offer better service and ingredients than others. Take the best care of your skin and choose a moisturizer that will keep your skin healthy, without harming it.

LifeCell is my fave skin care line! I love each and every product i buy from them. The cleanser and anti aging treatment are my all time faves.

  • Cora  says:

Whatever you do, do NOT try Lancome’s Renergie anti aging line. They test on animals and that is despicable. I am glad there are companies like LifeCell that do not test on animals. <3 LifeCell

  • ROSIE  says:

The LifeCell cream is my top pick too! I saw it on google when i was searching for a cream and after i tried it i have been using nothing else ever since. I have to say that my favorite thing about it is the fact that it is oil free but a great moisturizer. Not to mention the fact that it has no preservative! What a great product.

  • Cindy W.  says:

I would only recommend the LifeCell cream. It is my favorite for three main reasons: It keeps my skin moist, reduces the appearance of my wrinkles and makes my skin feel tight and lifted. I couldn’t ask for a better cream!

  • Odette  says:

I use the LifeCell cream and it really brightens and refreshes my skin. I also find it affordable. There is no way i could afford La Prairie at $650 an ounce, you’be got to be kidding me! LifeCell is a way better deal.
