Foods like pumpkin, carrots, sweet potatoes and spinach are very high in vitamin A. Retinol is a form of vitamin A. It is popularly used in skin care creams to speed up skin cell renewal to anti age your look. Faster cell renewal means smoother clearer skin. Vitamin A is also good for your collagen and it enhances your skin’s flexibility. Look for the ingredient retinol in your anti-aging cream if you want to get the antioxidant benefits of vitamin A.

Vitamin E is a healthy fat. You can find it in avocadoes, olives and wheat germ. The antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of vitamin E don’t just benefit you on the inside—they soften your skin, too. Consuming foods that are high in vitamin E is part of the famed Mediterranean diet. Mediterranean woman credit olive oil for their beautiful youthful skin. Replace butter with olive oil and avocado. Avocado can be wonderful when spread on your morning toast instead of butter. You can also apply mashed avocadoes and olive oil to your face to get the benefits.
